Anekdotz Apps are simple, snappy and customizable web communities in the mold of FMyLife.com. Anyone can launch their own for free using our service, no programming required and in about 5 minutes of your time. Anekdotz Apps are hosted on Google App Engine, a cloud based platform available to all with your plain old free Google Account.

You can start one for your friends, family, community, school, to supplement your existing Blog or Website, or just for kicks.

App creators can customize one of a growing set of design templates, or use HTML/CSS to create your perfect look and feel. You can also choose from different modes of story-moderation, categorization, pagination and much more. We’re constantly adding new features and we have designers/developers at the ready to make app-specific mods (for example matching the your app’s design to your blog/website) to your site at reasonable prices.
